Stop the Drip and Breathe Better

ClariFix® Cryotherapy

If you’re tired of always needing a tissue and you just can’t seem to stop the drip, ClariFix® is an FDA-approved treatment that’s minimally invasive. Dr. Wiesman can freeze away your nasal congestion with a noninvasive form of cryotherapy. The cold temperature hits the nerves and disrupts their ability to make mucus. As a result, your symptoms will dramatically improve.

When compared to other treatments, there’s no downtime or a lengthy recovery. The treatment only requires a topical anesthetic and can be done in the office. You’ll enjoy clinically proven results to treat a persistent runny nose, sneezing, or chronic nasal congestion. Using modern technology, this in-office procedure has been proven safe and effective for both allergic and non-allergic patients.

Now, the root causes of chronic rhinitis can be treated safely, quickly and easily. In fact, the procedure was even performed live on the TV show “The Doctors.”

Does Clarifix® Cryotherapy Hurt?

We apply a local anesthetic to make our patients as comfortable as possible. You might feel some slight pressure and a cooling sensation during the procedure, but anything you experience should be quite tolerable. The process is very quick, and you can expect any discomfort to fade soon after you leave our office. In fact, any increased soreness or congestion usually resolve themselves on the same day as the Clarifix® procedure.

How Safe Is Clarifix®?

Clarifix cryotherapy is a low-risk procedure. Its noninvasive nature means that there is very little risk that anything will go wrong. When adverse reactions do occur, they may include issues like headaches, facial pain, bleeding, and ear blockage. In most cases, these side effects disappear or are greatly reduced within 90 days of the Clarifix® appointment.

When Will I Notice Results, and How Long Will They Last?

Patients vary in their response to Clarifix® cryotherapy. In most cases, though, results become noticeable within 2 – 6 weeks after the treatment.

The longevity of the results can also vary. For some individuals, they experience long-lasting relief from their symptoms and never need a second treatment. For others, their results last 1 – 2 years. Repeated Clarifix® cryotherapy sessions are safe and do not typically come with increased risk levels for patients.

How Much Does Clarifix® Cryotherapy Cost?

Since Clarifix® cryotherapy is a fast and noninvasive procedure, its cost is quite manageable for most patients, even those without insurance. Our team can provide specific numbers when you call to book your consultation.

In some cases, medical insurance covers this procedure. However, since policies vary greatly, you should call your insurance company to learn more details about whether or not Clarifix® will be covered in your unique case. Our practice accepts many different insurance plans, and our team will be happy to help you navigate your benefits.

Can I Undergo Clarifix® Cryotherapy if I Have Had Nasal Surgery in the Past?

When you visit us for your consultation, we will ask for some details about your medical history. From there, we will be able to formulate a customized treatment plan. Whether or not Clarifix is right for you, we will do all we can to help you resolve your issues and enjoy problem-free breathing.
